Stevens Pass on busy weekends can be a challenge. Since
it is only 2 lanes with some three lane passing it can get jammed up with too many
vehicles at times. If it is possible for you to use Snoqualmie Pass this may be a better
way during these times.
From Seattle using Stevens Pass:
Go north on Interstate 5 to Everett. Turn off on Highway 2 at Everett going East. Highway
2 will take you over Stevens Pass. Stay on Highway 2 all the way to Leavenworth. In
Leavenworth go past the first stop light and watch for our sign on the right side of the
highway, about 2 blocks from light.
From Seattle using Snoqualmie Pass:
Take Interstate 90 East out of Seattle. On the east side of the pass go North on Highway
97 at Cle Elum to Blewett Pass. Blewett Pass highway ends at Highway 2 turn left (West) to
Leavenworth. In Leavenworth go past the first stop light at the East end of town and watch
for our sign on the left side of the highway, about 2 blocks from light.
